Question 2 x KOMBI errors A3A9 and 931B no sport mode

Hi,

I noticed the other day that my sports mode (UK stick to the keft, automatic box) isnt “activating” on my 2007 e92 335i.

The small orange LED light on the P R N D panel doesnt illuminate and theres nothing on the digital dash, however manual shifting with the gearstick to the left is fine.

Logged into INPA and I have the 2 codes below showing in KOMBI

A3A9
931B

Are these/either related?

From reading up I need to try a new PRND unit, does this sound right?

Best,

Fozz

The typical issue is that the wires are broken and need a splice.
Pull the console and look at the wires.

Thanks texhwizz, I shall give that ago. By console are you referring to the gearstick unit - PRND - that area?

Hi, just done that today. Both sets of wires running into each of the 2 connectors look good. All nice, clean and tidy underneath. Any advice?
