I had a '16 M235i and an '11 e91 328i. I still have my e91, and I plan to be buried in it. Case closed.
Keep the wagon, it will hold it's value better and be cheaper to maintain. It's pretty much THE family car of Europe, so it must baby just fine.

You have to keep the E91. I am planning on doing the 3 stage intake manifold, MILV and tune to give mine some more power.
Saw 2 N54 e91's at the last cars and coffee in Charlotte if you really need the power. |

i just bought a e90 335 N55 msport because of our new baby. but other vehicle is a Jeep TJ and wife has SUV. i am intrigued by the e91 but that N55 is fun, fun, fun. im all about diy so that factored into my decision over N52.

I would pick the E91 just because I love them.
Going from a 325i to a 335i was insane though. I say get the Wagon now and swap it later. |

Here is thread for you: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=11_3756 Get 3 IM from any N52 with 3im or N51 engine (n51 comes with 3im stock) using car-part.com I would suggest getting later model n51 3IM. I just checked. There are quite few of them for $125 including disa valves. Get nuts, bolts and gaskets: 07129905541 6x 07119903918 4x 11617547242 1 set And here is the guide: https://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tec...eplacement.htm Get cable from bimmer geek website and get a tune from bimmer labs. Here is direct link to used manifolds. http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.c...ey=&userPage=3 Last edited by W37V; 07-16-2019 at 04:38 PM.. |

Depends.
328 came with N51 and n52 engines. If your car is equipped with n51, the you already have 3im. If you have n52 engine, you can retrofit it. What engine you have, you ask? you can use realoem.com and input last 7 digits of your vin, or you can use any bmw vin decoder website. |

I actually have a 2006 330i so I have that 3im. I'm just thinking a year or two down the line, if I come across a 328 manual wagon, I'll probably look to 'upgrade' for more storage space. And I wouldnt want the downgrade in power that comes with it. I know there are many threads on this but I was just curious since it pertains to this discussion.
