Xenons not working (need help)

I recently bought a used 2013 335is . It was not until it had got dark and I was over 100 miles from the dealership that I realized that the headlights were not working properly . All of the lights on the car work including the halos and parking lights just not the xenons . I have been searching the forums trying various solutions and have already tried replacing the bulbs and the ballast . The previous owner has installed after market halos and clearly has done some coding . I'm suspecting that this could be some kind of coding gone wrong . Any help is appreciated . Thanks

Reset the short circuit counter. If that doesn't work, then perhaps replace the ballast or the bulbs - maybe both.

You can reset the short circuit counter using tools 32 or bimmer geeks app
