How will my mirrors fold?
This may sound like a dull question, but how do the mirrors fold on E91 cars.
On older BMs the folded like this, which I think looks great. Is this still the case or have BMW become all conventional? Thanks Jonny |

Normal now which I think is for the better. Whether they looked better on the e46 coupe is a moot point (I don't think they do and the space saved is negligeable) but they screamed "kick me off!!" to any passing chavs.

I see the logic in the more conventional route as I am sure that they screamed out to chav’s but they did look so cool folded in the old way.
Can anyone tell I ticked the electric folding mirror box on the option list.... It has been bugging me for ages so thanks for clearing it up for me. |

Could never see the point to folding in like this. With the mirror glass facing up it will catch every bit of flying crap, bird shit and dirty rain. Next time you drive you can't for shit in your mirrors??!!
