N52B25 small DISA gasket

Hello guys!

The other day I removed my intake manifold for a completely different purpose and I found that my small DISA valve has a torn gasket. I attached some photos so you can see yourself what I'm exactly talking about.
So I've contacted my parts supplier and they charge 100+ bucks for this little guy, so O thought I'd attempt repairing that gasket myself with some silicone, maybe some gasket maker. What do you guys think? Also, how important does that gasket look to you, to be completely honest, I'm not even sure if it's worth bothering as it was causing absolutely no symptoms whatsoever.

Thanks in advance for your anwers, nbK.

It's not important at all. The valve isn't a pressure retaining component.

So you reckon it won't cause unmetered air or any other trouble, and it's not worth the struggle to get a new gasket in there?

No, the valve is internal to the manifold. No outside air could get in there. The seal around the base of the valve is all that matters.
