I just finished installing Chris@BoostConcepts pump. His DIY is very detailed or you can send in your core for him to do it. In the end everyone company is just selling the Walbro 450 pump but Chris has excellent costumer service. I have over 70 emails going back and forth with him.

Been meaning to get a review up but been slammed at work.

Why on earth did you need over 70 e-mails of communication regarding a lpfp?

Well hopefully for you this thread never turns into a conversation about the fuel pump made by precision race works lol (I'm sure it won't)

Can't go wrong with fuel-it stuff to me if you are comparing the 2 companies.

If you are talking about the module I'm pretty excited for that. I love to see the N54 finally getting stuff the rest of the car world has had for years lol

After a brief reading they speak to the system being modular and 'grows with you'. The Stage 2+ Modular is $370 but the Stage 3+ is $300.

So with it being a 'Modular' system that you add on to, this means to build my factory LPFP to Stage 3+ specs I buy both the Stage 2+ and Stage 3+ for a total of $670. The thing is this means I have 2 - 450 Walbro pumps working in tandem, but Precision claims this flows 170% more fuel than stock.

The Stage 3 Fuel-It pump is $850 but they claim that it flows 300% more than stock but this essentially is also 2 - 450 Walbro pumps which sounds like the Precision set up.

The other value proposition Fuel It seems to provide is they build it and flow test it prior to shipping to you so it is verified.

Is this a fair comparison at this point or am I missing something?

Two walboro pumps are going to have similar flow regardless how you compare it to stock. You can get a little more by deleting the venturi, but that's as bad of an idea as deleting the bucket IMO. Both companies make good setups, I've seen many fuel-it pumps and they are very well made. I've seen a few PR now and they looked good as well, assembled one and it worked fine. Pick the design you like best or the company you want to send your money to more, flow numbers are going to be similar with both.

That's what I figure, just odd to see the claims that far apart. Unless I am reading them wrong. Maybe Precision means to say Stage 3+ flows 170% more than Stage 2+?

Either way it also just kind of looks like you have to decide if the extra $180 Fuel It gets for their Stage 3 is worth it to have it essentially delivered to you assembled and flow tested / verified.

Well I'll say this. If you have no idea how to use a drill, screw driver, or heat gun... just get it assembled. It's not hard, but it's not Lego's either. It's a step by step on how to do something that you are not intended to do by the factory. It's not jailbreaking an iPhone, it's rooting AND ROM'ing a random android.

Ha this made me "LOL"

But i will agree 10000% to this.

I do see many try the Pr pump selection and then see posting on social media "I have no clue what I am doing"

Just a FYI PR does offer to put them together for you. He charges an extra $50 and you need to send him your pump. Turn around time is usually a day once he receives it till it's being shipped back to you.

Yep, that's what I was looking at. I also agree with what you said, and more competition to throttle the price asked by vendors for basic items.

I can tell you that PR flow tested his pumps and the competition in a flow bench and they flow the same GPM as expected. I think even the PR flowed a little more. He will be posting his test results soon he believe.

I highly recommend the PR kit. Very well made, great price and unmatched upgrade pricing, no core fee, and amazing customer service. Robert is a great guy and always takes care of his customers. I believe he has sold well over 100 kits now and they just entered the market and all his customers are very happy with his product and service.
