My 335is just threw this:

P2808 - Powertrain
Pressure Control Solenoid G Performance or Stuck Off

Google is usually my friend, but not in this case - information is extremely scarce, especially as far as DCT is concerned.

I take it that it's not something that happens often, which makes me feel funny - usually this means that repair procedures are not well documented. Bentley manual has whopping 3 pages on DCT, which makes it useless in this case.

Anyone here had this happen? What was the root cause? Did you have to farm it out, or were you able to do it yourself?

Just as a baseline, I've done my fair share of DIY repair on German, Japanese and American cars, so the only things that scare me outright are those that require literal heavy lifting.
