Solid aluminum subframe mounts for all E82, E90, E91, E92, and E93 (including 1M and M3 models) will give your rear suspension the rigidity it desperately needs. Since everything in the rear suspension is tied to the subframe, it only makes sense that this should be as rigid as possible. If the subframe moves, so do all of your control arms, bushings, alignment, and even the output shafts. There's a reason why BMW M stopped using rubber subframe mounts in production street cars.
