From what I understand it has had the water-pump done.

The waste-gates aren't terrible, they only rattle on the over run with no throttle but enough to annoy me into having them rebuilt.
As the mileage is fairly low it may be worth considering taking out a BMW warranty

Smoother idle for sure, probably gained back some power also but hard to tell since I upgraded a bunch of other stuff at the same time. I have 147k on mine and pretty sure it had never been done. Some intake ports had like 4mm+ of carbon build up on the walls and bunch on the back side of valves. If you are anywhere near/over 100k I would definitely recommend getting it done.

Car doesn't have FBMWSH sadly so that's not an option!

Also I must have jinxed myself replying here because I'm now getting long cranks (5-8s), stuttering on idle, stalling, limp mode, reduced power etc... Almost certain its HPFP but the codes I am getting seem to point to something on the LP side (29DC).

Going for diags tonight before ordering a new HPFP for fitting this weekend.

Nothing to report this month, just the insurance @ £480.
Three weeks until I should be able to drive again

Yeah, can't believe the weather, so much nicer than last year.

And yes, never noticed the quantity of speed cameras before.

I jinxed myself posting here.

So far in July my car has cost me £1000 in parts and I have fitted them on the driveway so no labour cost.

She has consumed two pumps in 3 weeks. The ABS/DSC pump went two weeks ago so replaced that, then the HPFP so replaced that on Saturday just gone!

Still love it though!!

Yep there'll always be something that you'll want or need to do but even after owning mine for five years it always puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
Speaking of which only 14 days left until I can drive

Yep that has been my main motivation so far, the smile and pleasure it gives when that N54 shouts! It is intoxicating and its still bone stock!

Hoping next month to get some new wheels (1M/m359 wheels), carbon rear diffuser, carbon splitter, high kick carbon perf spoiler and then later in the year JB4, Decat downpipes and Dual cone intakes

You dont need FBMWSH to take out bmw insured warranty as i have it on my 330i. As long as its been serviced from a VAT approved garage with recommended parts then they accept it
