I am very close to closing a deal on a classic car for Sunday Drives.

(it is not a BMW)

Can anyone recommend a good auto carrier?

I was about to say the same...they advertise in the Panorama all the time (Porsche Magazine), and a lot of people have had good results with them.

Try calcruising.com. It's kindof like lendingtree.com. You submit your trip info and several transport companies will get back to you with quotes. You can collect the most reasonable quotes and then look for feedback from those shipping companies.

They're pricey but very good, I was going to recommend them as well.

There is also another site that's similar: www.uship.com

I received a good price that way, but if this is a care he wants to stay pristine it's probably not the best way to go.

Hey man, recently I shipped my new car. I found one company. Their article helped me to know how to calculate shipping cost. Then they help me shipped my car to me. The delivery occurred to be fast and of high quality.
I recommend you to read this article https://getcarrier.com/blog/car-shipping-cost/
I am glad if I could help you.

I have a friend, he recently moved to the USA from Russia. His name is Ivan. I don’t remember which model he bought. But he needed to get the car from New York to LA. Before contacting the agents, he looked for a lot of delivery information. As a result, he went to one article where there are literally answers to all your questions about delivery. He chose a closed delivery, as it has many advantages.
You seem like a bot...

You just check out this and choose any company. This may be Uship or A1. Right here there are pros and cons these companies.
