320D M47 Upgraded Turbo/Injectors - Alpina D3
Hi All,
This is currently fitted to my car but will be getting removed at the end of September. Turbocharger is a Garrett GTB1756k as fitted to the Alpina D3, these are good for a reliable 260-270 hp on a 120/320d with the M47 engine with supporting mods (also available). i had the turbo rebuilt and balanced by TurboRebuild when i purchased it in 2015, and its covered around 15k in that time. still in the car and running perfect. Also have a set of 4 Bosch 0445110219 injectors for the M47 engine, again as fitted to the Alpina D3, these were purchased brand new in 2015 when i done the turbo upgrade and again have covered around 15k These turbos are extremely rare, they were produced specifically for the Alpina D3, and a perfect upgrade for the M47 engine. £1000 |

M47 is indeed 163hp
Car is now off the road, so parts are available whenever, its still in the car currently, but i can get it removed this weekend coming. i also have a large front mount intercooler with pipework, Allard EGR delete, Decat and OEM 330D exhaust, if someone wants to go whole hog, its an excellent setup. open to offers on the lot. |

Im interested in how much else needs to be changed to fit the Alpina turbo?? Will I need to change my current m47n2 Downpipe/manifold/Maf tube/Intercooler pipework from the stock 320d MHI turbo set up!? Could be quite costly to change to if so??
Any pictures of how you have it fitted currently? Ta. |

it bolts up to the stock manifold and downpipe, the only difference is the pipework going to the Intercooler
ill grab a picture in a bit to show how i have it connected up, but obviously mine is being plumbed into the FMIC as opposed to the stock cooler. (although that is basically the stock location anyway) |

It's an electronic actuator, like the stock turbo
I was running the stock Alpina map on this (just never got around to mapping it) but they are capable of 260+ with these kinds of mods. |

Interested in this upgrade for my 320d in Australia. Had ECU remapped recently for approx. 40% power/torque increase. Would drive a lot better if turbo came in around 1500 rpm.
Would get a 330d intercooler + 330d injectors upgrade to round it out. |
