Shout Out for Mr Tire Chantilly VA
Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys at Mr. Tire on McLearen Road in Chantilly, Virgina. Came in with a lame left front tire (non-runflat) on my way to work. It went flat in about 5 minutes after the FTM lit up. I stopped and repressurized the tire to 38 psi thinking I'd limp into their shop. A busy Monday morning for them, and they lost their AC unit over the weekend too boot. Steve set me up for a plug/patch repair. Their shop tech let me evaluate the tire with him. He said it hadn't been damaged by running on low pressure and recommended repairing it. I was out in 45 minutes. No try to "up sale" me, just a straight up honest eval and repair. Exactly what I needed to happen - no hassles.
Kudos.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
