Just got home from a road trip with the gf with the e92. Put on a little over 400 miles with some extended canyon time thrown in the mix. Car made 0 issues and got us home purring just how it left. I reverted to 93octane from e30 but was still at 2+ the whole time too. Really pleased with how the car is doing

Also came home to car parts! Total vanity mod more than anything though. Air scoops to offset my body color

Bought a good amount of stuff from fcp euro for both cars. Amusing how the water pump for the E46 is 37 bucks and for an e9x it's 10 times that. Also oil filter housing and heat exchanger gasket for the e92. I'll try and make a coolant hose myself for it with parts of the x3 I pulled the cooler from

Thought I would share this because at least for me it was interesting to see that there are indeed N52s that came from factory with the oil to air heat exchanger.

It isn't just N54 that got that. It seems that while the vast majority of N52s didn't get any oil cooler or water to oil ones, there's a few like this X3 3.0si M Sport that came with the same setup as the N54 just the cooler is to the driver side of the car. I was reading about this this morning after seeing that FCP Euro had different OFHG kits one for cars with S840 option and ones without it (without it means it has oil to water cooler) and then luck has it that I go pull parts from a car with the special rare oil cooler

Ps: it's a shame this car ended up in these hands as it was in ok shape, definitely worth more than just as parts..

LOL. I know its apples and oranges but my truck is just over $150 to fill and that gets me about 450kms (280miles).

I had never seen one before, I always saw the oil to water coolers on the 5 and X cars (since barely anybody parts out a Z4) and those cars were sports package too some of them. Maybe this is an M sport specific thing.

I planned on installing a set of Supreme Power spring lowering perches but the strut had other plans. I did not have a strut spreading tool so I used a screwdriver, the strut moved about an inch but I could not pull it out. I'll check out a couple more DIY videos and see if I can make it happen. I did clean the area and inside of the wheel so it wasn't a total loss.

I’m trying to figure out how the truck's value rose $5k more than what it was when it was brand new in 2019.

This one the guy actually bought it just to get the m sport bumper for his wife's X3 as it's 1000 new from BMW. He says he parted it out because it didn't start so I go to check it out to see if I can get a dme/cas/key combo and it doesn't have a dme.. that's why it didn't start

Isn't that to an extent your job or the managers job? either way you get your commission and the customer gets a nice deal
