So when I goto local shops to get stuff done, I notice that a lot of the people have good relations with the people at the shops. I was curious if any of you get "hookups" or slightly lower labour costs when getting work done due to relationships you've built with your local shop?

I was looking to get some springs installed and wouldn't mind some discounted pricing if anyone could help me out.
Also looking to get some exhaust work done at some good pricing, just some minor welding.
