You could have a 'toffee' - half tea / half coffee in the same cup.

Prefere tea, but both are good. Coffee in the morning and tea at night.

After mid-morning, switch to coffee but is crappy Douwe Egberts out of our drinks machine in reception.

Always look forward to coming home and having a decent coffee from my latest toy

I assumed rightly or wrongly that tea would have won in the UK?

Here's some stupid facts:

The most Top Three Tea Drinking Nations seem to be:

•1. Turkey (at twenty cups per person according to this 2003 report)
•2. India
•3. United Kingdom

Another way of checking was to see how much caffeine was consumed from tea per nation. Now that got an answer, from a 1995 report:

1.Ireland (127 mg of caffeine from tea per day!)
2.Kuwait (112 mg)
3.United Kingdom (96 mg)

The only other way to determine who drinks the most tea is how many kilograms of tea is consumed per person per year. That found a newer study from 2002

1.United Kingdom (2.3 kg)
2.Ireland (1.5 kg)
3.New Zealand (1 kg)

Probably all different now lol.

I would choose coffee beans any day over tea. When choosing coffee I always prefer coffee beans Ireland
