Black interior may be vastly preferred over Beige, but I don't see how it could be objectively better?

What's the criteria? Black gets hot as f#ck in the sun. Scratches and imperfections show up more on black too. Alternately, beige shows dirt more. How else is Beige objectively (functionally) inferior?

Personally, I prefer Beige over Black any day and like the Beige/black interior color combo as a classic look.

  • No accidents (BaT car had been hit)
  • H/K and xenon, same as BaT car
  • No nav (I prefer single hump, others like nav)
  • OEM+ mods like PE, 3IM, M3 wheels and original 194s

I'm wondering if this would be worthwhile to be sure they don't total it for $3000 or some ridiculous amount if I ever got into an accident.
I got an ACV (actual cash value) rider on my policy for $30,000 for my RWD, M-Sport, (swapped) 6MT.

Did they just ask for comps from you? Or did they look it up themselves? I am gathering comps for my E91 to hopefully sway them to a high ACV.

Also, did they ACV of $30k increase your premiums?

They didn't ask for comps. They just increased the premium and that was that.

2012 BMW 328i Sports Wagon | 68,000 miles | RWD 6MT

The time has officially come to let go of my own wagon! I have meticulously maintained this car since day one and have documented everything in a detailed log book with receipts. It's been professionally detailed and looks and drives just as good if not better than when I brought it home over 7 years ago. Certainly bittersweet, but it's time for a new owner to drive and enjoy it as much as I have.

I didn't think I'd be doing this, but some other opportunities have come up. I don't need to sell my E91 but If the price is right I'm willing to sell.

2010 328i XDrive
6speed manual
Montego Blue
Beige Leather Interior
Manual seats
Single hump
Sport Package
Value Package
Cold Weather Package
Xenon Headlights

I am the second owner, first owner was an older lady who did everything when it was required.

I have receipts for the Valve cover/ and gasket, Oil Pan Gasket (replaced in the past 5k miles), oil filter housing gasket, both diffs and Transfer case service and an oil change in the past 500 miles, new tires 4k miles ago, new brakes in the past 10k miles. New rear suspension in the past 15k miles, new axels in the past 5k miles, water pump replaced in the past 8k miles, the car drives like it's brand new, and now looks new because I had it paint corrected and coated. I replaced all the door handles that became sticky, any trim inside that started to peal. Only thing I didn't get to was the drivers side door cup, which has a few little peals in the coating, not sticky or annoying so I left it as is for now. Clean title, no accidents, all original paint! The car currently sits on BMW style 193M m sport 18 inch wheels, with new staggered Michelin Pilot sport 4 all season tires in 225/40/18 and 245/35/18s.

Car currently sits at 129,500 miles, and will go up. It has the BMW oil change program active for 3 years and unlimited miles, the oil has been changed every 5-10k miles under previous ownership, and 3-5k miles under current ownership.

Because Its such a good car, and I have invested some money into it to make it perfect and great to drive I am looking to get $25,000 for the car. I am open to offers reasonable to the asking price and current market for the car. I have most of the Service records since new, and over $20,000 has been put into the car since 2017 to keep it perfect.

Montego Blue is a nice color. That is a lot of maintenance out of the way. I have manual seats in my E91 and enjoy how low you can get the seat, compared to the powered seats. Manual seats also are lighter and have fewer items to break.

2009 LCI E91 6 speed MANUAL
Clean Title
RWD
Black on Black
141K miles

Only options are Xenon headlights and HIFI

What would a car like this be worth? Ballpark. I know LCI / RWD / 6 Spd / no i drive should be a pretty good rare no nonsense spec.

Depending on maintenance and overall condition, I would guess $16-18k?

2012 BMW 328i Sports Wagon 6-Speed

I know Bring-A-Trailer listings have become a bit controversial around here, but my auction closes today @ 5:36 EST.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...328i-wagon-16/

For those following along, you already know an LCI E91 with rear wheel drive, 6-speed manual, and single hump dash (no i-drive) with full documentation is a pretty rare combo that few may appreciate. The extras that come with it are just a bonus. Really happy to share my car with all of you!

GLWS and congrats on getting the money it's going to bring Who are we to say what the car is worth? A thing is worth what someone is willing to pay. Hopefully forum members don't show up in the Bat comments and try and torpedo your sale. That was disappointing to read on the other post.

We as forum members wouldn't be good targets for the auction sites. Maybe the BaT of old. It's crazy to me that my 2012 wagon with a manual and N54 engine swap with likely twice the hp is worth half the value of your car.

I just read through the comments on BaT for that auction. No one made negative comments or attempted to torpedo the sale. Quite a few members from this thread made positive comments about how great E91s are.

The "negative" comments were only here about 1600veloce since we often see him pluck cars, give a nice detail, and sell for high markup on BaT with his ability to list whatever he wants... Normal sellers on BaT have to go through a waiting process and might not even get accepted.

I'm glad it was sold on commission. I think a lot of us felt 1600veloce scooped it up and was turning around to sell it on BaT like we've seen all too many times....

That's possible, I didn't read them. I was just going by what the other seller said on here about the experience and he seemed bummed about some of the comments.
