Warning Light

So I've looked through the owners manual and searched on here but I cant seem to find anything that explains a warning light I'm getting. For the past two days after shutting off the car I get an amber warning light that is the oil symbol with waves underneath. I'm guessing it's the top up engine oil warning but I'm showing full oil under the electronic dipstick...Is this is a faulty sensor???

Did you ever get an answer to this problem? My car has just started doing this, on shutdown. No lights or warnings while actually driving. TIA - Pat

Take a picture and post it so we can diagnose it.

I've since traded in that car but from what I remember I believed I added 1 quart of oil and the warning light went away.

I did the same. Checked level using the left-side stalk, and it told me to add 1 qt. Did, and I'm good to go.
