Seat buckle is wrong way - how to fix?

This isn't normal right? Guess I have to unbolt the seatbelt off? On my driver side it's oriented properly but not on the passenger.

Took out the seatbealt anchor at the bottom and the stopper for no damn reason it wouldn't clear the thick stitching.

Pried at it like crazy and got it the flip itself finally...

It happens from time to time. You can fold the seatbelt webbing in on itself within the buckle and get it back the right way. It's a little tricky but it's possible to do without unbolting the seatbelt.

It's happened on my E92 and did exactly that by folding it.

The issue is now the belt is creased and it slips off the arm extender. I have tried starch spray and iron to flatten the belt and no luck. In the end just removed the fuse for the extender.

I may need new belts

I have had this happen also, twists and goes back inside the B pillar, you just have to work it through the upper mount with another twist to get it back straight, I took off the b pillar trim to figure out where the twist was and untwist it the right direction.
