Remap 325d n57 204hp. What should I do with the EGR?
Hi.
I have a 2011 325d (n57 - 204hp) which will get a remap soon. The tuner say I can choose if I want to delete the EGR (software) or keep it functioning. What should I do? If I choose to delete the EGR (software), should I block off the system too (hardware)? I see the US-guys with 335d's recomend doing this because risk of egr-cooler pipe cracking. Will this be the same on my 325d? Any drawbacks with deleting EGR? Will getting heat in the engine/car take much longer on really cold days? Thanks. Last edited by 325d; 02-16-2015 at 05:01 PM.. |

A great question! I'm not sure what the answer is.
I have a 330d with the N57 and information on remapping and any form of tuning really is scarce. Maybe email a few reputable tuners and get their take on things? |
