Jut an FYI, we have not had a fan on our LUX E90 models for about 2 years now. We found that it was not necessary

just installed mine and am pretty happy with the brightness and colour match to the xenons
EDIT: just put my car side by side with one that has mtec v3 - I can say the v4 are much brighter, but the v3 has more of the xenon blue hue and in my opinion look better compared to the almost pure white...

I have just installed the Mtec v4, and man they are bright, you could actually drive with just the ae at night!
And as for colour they are pure white, no blue what so ever! |

I have installed the mtec 4.0 but I have a problem with fading the leds.
When I unlock the car the angle eyes turn on. When I lock the car they fade out. My e90 is built in 2008 The left angle eyes is slower in the start and faster in de fading. Does anybody has a solution for this problem? [u2b] [/u2b] |

I never used the auto-headlight feature and always manually turned off the light before shutting off the engine.

Amazing fast delivery
Since this is the review post for the e92-lighting's Mtec V4, I would like say this:
I ordered Mtec V4 Saturday night at 9. I expected to receive a tracking number Monday. I didn't receive the tracking. I knew their company was in California, shipping to East coast where I am. On Monday I went to pick up 3 packages I ordered from other places. The lady said you have another package here. Didn't know what it could be. I looked at the address and holy smokes! It was the Mtec V4! How in the hell did USPS ship it to me so fast even on the weekend! The post office was closed Saturday on California time and closed Sunday. So how in the world did it get to me Monday. Very speedy packaging and shipping both on e92-lighting and the USPS. Anyway, I will install these lights today and post comparison pics of Kensun brand vs Mtec v4. |

Did you have to remove the tires and put the car on a jack to do the install?

Sorry for the delay
Here are some pics of them installed. Taken with iPhone5. Can't take pic of both sides simultaneously, blame the phone, won't focus. Definitely brighter than Kensun.
