bmw 320d e90 non dpf decat pipe

just wondering if anyone knows any companies that sell direct decat pipes for the 320d pre lci 163bhp model

i have remap, bcs back box middle silencer delete k&n, remap and will be fitting a large fmic soon so wish also for the decat as the sound would be great as its already sounding deep and good.

Hi

Did you manage to find a decat pipe? We are a small exhaust company in Fife, Scotland and we have just finished putting a 2.5" cat back system on a 320d se 163bhp, pre dpf. We left out the back box and used a free flowing 2.5" bore box for the mid silencer. We basically left out the rear box purely for experimental purposes to see if we could get some exhaust noise but it didnt really make much of a difference. We are going to make up a decat pipe next, then get it on the rolling road to find out how much power we have gained just from the exhaust system. If you like I can let you know how we get on with the decat and set up a jig and make one up for you?

Hi,

Also sorry for the late delay. Although very tricky on this car we did manage to make a decat for the 320d, the custom exhaust pipe on the car was 2.5" so we made the decat pipe 2.5" also but the original pipe that clamps over the pipe on the stock cat I believe is 2 and 3/8" so if you still have the original pipe on your car we would need to make it 2.25" to make it a direct fit for you. Either that or we make it in 2.5" and you can take to your local exhaust shop for them to fit.

The car sounds good with the decat, nice growl when you apply the throttle and you can instantly feel the extra power from the lack of restriction and brings up no error codes.

The price we will be selling these will be around £175 on ebay.

Regards

Callum
