Fault codes and meaning?

Hi everyone,

Just bought Carly so I can go through my new 330D. I was expecting 2/3 codes but unfortunately there is more than that.

Could someone help me out with what the code means and what the problem is?

- 004212, 004222, 004232, 004242, 004252, 004262. All of the glow plugs have an error.I’m guessing that it would be pretty rare to have all 6 glow plugs go, so would be worth changing glow plug module?

- Central info display - 00A468, energy saving mode active

- Car communication computer CCC - 00E18D, awakening device

- Audio system - 00A1A3, reinitialisation wegens DSP

- Audio system - 00A1A5, DSP CODEC or could not be initialised

- Passive go system - 00A097, :days fat wup no answer

- Passive go system - 00A0A7, :days2 wup no answer

- FRM - 009CBD, short or open door contacts back (I have noticed the boot never seems to lock even if I lock with the key so I wonder if this is something to do with that)

Please see pictures for more detailed descriptions.

Any help is appreciated!

Cylinder 1 Glow Plug Code: 004212
Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Code: 004222
Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Code: 004232
Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Code: 004242
Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Code: 004252
Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Code: 004262
Unlikely but not beyond possible that all plugs have gone open circuit failure over time

Some of them maybe old codes that are stored, so clear them all and then scan it again to see which ones you have left. My guess is your list will be much shorter.

Yes I have tried that. I got all the same codes recently and cleared them, scanned again and I was left with 00A568 and 009CBD. After some driving I scanned again and had all of the codes above appeared unfortunately ^.
