Help-need people to check there cars

I am wondering if other members can hold 1,500 rpm in park or neutral (auto)because mine won't. don't know if it's normal.
I am trying to figure out a throttle fluctuation problem I'm having. When I'm in 5th or 6th gear@ 1,500 rpm and I have my foot steady, I can see and feel the car surging.
When I am in park or neutral and try to rev to 1,500 rpm it won't stay still. If I increase it to 2k rpm it will stay.
I have seen others are having the same problem too. When I look at my (log)throttle position, it is level. My fuel high & low pressure also don't move. I am thinking it's my pedal or the throttle body.
I wonder if there is a way to check the throttle body when you log? I think the throttle position is off the accelerator pedal, not the throttle body.
No codes. If I reset adaptions it will go away for about a week then return.
Thank you.

I’m pretty sure the throttle position is the throttle body on the log...

Is been probably two years since I had a 335i with similar issue. One had problem with the alternator that was causing the throttle body and accelerator pedal to act up. The other needed to re learn the throttle body and accelerator position. I used INPA for this where you can also check the functionality of both. Also I have these parts from low mileage 75k 2010 335i that you could use for testing. If they fix your issue keep them if not ship them back

Feuer, I would like to take you up on your generous offer. I pmed you.
It all seemed to start after I changed my starter. When I removed the intake I moved the throttle plate a few times. I can't help but wonder if that did something?

Is probably just throttle adaptation that you need to do. I don’t know the steps but there is is quids flooring on these forums. Try that. You can also have my spare part to test too
