I would never put random no name ebay/amazon/china turbos on my car. Not for how much installation costs. Its also not worth a weekend to do myself when chances are i’ll have to redo it again and be out $1000
Id run Pure or RB turbos or a single turbo kit. Even brands like Vargas fail all the time why throw money away?

Anyway i went with MMP inlets and had the shop install them the same time as new oem turbos. I had ordered relocated but got sent stock location inlets. So i went with them as the car had to go to the shop. Theyve been great though. As far as sound. Ive ran them both with stock airbox and DCI. With the stock airbox youd never know they were there. However with the DCI and especially after tuning you hear all the turbo noises.
I think i went with MMP as they were a bit cheaper ive got silicone ones btw

I think a custom tune is generally around $300 for these cars but you can message your preferred tuner for exact pricing. Wedge does have a website with pricing too

Assuming youre full bolt on running an E40/60 tune ive heard gains between 20-40whp
Its less noticeable on ots pump maps as they aren't designed to take advantage of the extra flow.
My stage 2 lpfp comes in tomorrow so once that is installed i will get a custom tune and then dyno my car and post results.
OTS at the moment, assuming I have a custom tune with IC upgraded?

E85 is hard to get, and personally don't want to mess with it, rather stay on 98ron V Power.

You could substitute meth for E85 to get the full potential. Either way id say theyre good for atleast 20whp given the mods will need the custom tune to take advantage though. Downpipes are a big restriction though. You want to get as much air in and out as possible.

That's worth it then.

Downpipes will be next, I need catted ones and they are damn expensive in uk. Will have to save up.

19t is yet to be proven, i have a set going on my car, but if i was recommending, id say 17t is the option id jump on. $900 then get some inlets and outlets, enjoy another 100+whp on pump with a custom tune.
You got any links to those turbos?

Would prefer RB definitely, but if I could do the labour I'd try the Ebay turbo since it's a lot cheaper and not a big deal if the turbos ho after a year or two.

Just noticed youre UK based so your car is RHD then right? The stock inlets on the RHD cars is a massive restriction from what i remember. You should notice a good increase in power. Not sure what options are available for those cars though i know there is some.

Inlets are the same. Outlets is where the steering column cutout is.

Thanks PeterY for the pic
