Aftermarket oil pan?

2013 E93 335i (N55). Long story short Jiffy Lube overtorqued the drain bolt and stripped out the threads, cant properly torque down without an oil leak. I'm in the market for a new oil pan and BMW pans are $500-750. Is it even worth considering an aftermarket oil pan or should I just go OE. I'm likely going to take it to a shop as I don't want to deal with dropping the subframe

You might look at an oil drain valve that doesn't need removing each time. Just twist to open and close. Then get a nice seat on the old and be done....

But it's not a matter of if but when the oil pan gasket needs replacing. Which might solve two problems by replacing.
Make sure it's a metal pan. So when the shocks go out and you start bottoming out it dents instead of cracking lol

And Jiffy Lube is paying for the repair, right?

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

The oil plug replacement kit I used on a GTI worked well, should be cost effective to investigate other options than entire oil pan, unless pan gasket is already leaking...

I fucking wish. Went in to the manager with my findings and long story short he said "Unless you have actual proof that my techs overtorqued the drain bolt there's nothing I'm going to do." Pretty much told me to go pound sand
