Air Bag Codes 93AE & 93AF

Hey guys got lightly rear ended a few days ago, hardly any damage but my airbag light came on and threw codes 93ae and 93af. It shows it's an active headrest airbag issue and Ive researched and it seems like the only option I have is to replace both headrests even though the airbags never deployed? Was wondering if it's possible to code this instead and if it was safe to do so? Thanks!

These parts run about $120 each and I'll need two, not to mention the 2-3 hours of labor I'll be charged to fix it. Anyone think I can just code it out??

It’s fairly easy to do it yourself. And the repair kit is not the plastic clip holder , it is the metal small thing size like a small battery, it has explosive charges inside.
