My two cents to this page
Certainly Monaco is one of the most interesting colors, is like having more than one color depending on the light conditions.

More pics
Hi NIV, From Munich to Prague to Vienna, To small mountain town in Austria called St. Wolfgang, to Small town in Italy called Bolzano, then to Zurich through the Italian and Swiss Alps. Is the best experience you can have on your car besides the great savings. Here a couple more pics.

I must have looked through this thread about 100 times. One thing that I keeps striking me is how good the double-spoke style wheels look with this color. Even the stock 16" rims look decent with this dark blue. On the other hand, the star-spoke styles, which I usually prefer, seem off to me somehow on Monaco. Anyone else have any thoughts on wheel styles with Monaco?

No, it doesn't.
I really wanted Mystic when the E90 first came out but waited for the 335 once I heard about it. When Montego replaced it, I thought I would get that instead. I was disappointed when I saw it in person, in bright light it had just the slightest amount of purple in it although I like it in darker situations. I think it is a good color for the coupe and the Z4's I've seen it on, but it doesn't suit the E90 imo. I ended up going with Monaco since the E90 looks so good in darker colors, even though I tend to like cars with a bit more color. Really stunning in full daylight and classy looking at night. |
