Hi guys. I have a problem with coding BRAKE FORCE DISPLAY in my BMW E90 2007 via Carly. I chose such configuration: BRAKE FORCE DISPLAY 1/2---ACTIVE

BRAKE FORCE DISPLAY 2/2 ---ACTIVE

BLINKING SPEED:FAST,
OUTER LIGHT:FLASH,
INNER BRAKE LIGHTS:FLASH,
THIRD BRAKE LIGHT:FLASHING

And 3rd stop brake light no flash :-(
Any ideas for it?

Also I'd like ask about this: in brake force display 1/2 and 2/2 what does mean option: ALTERNATIVE??

I dont believe brake force display works on Carly, at least in the past not sure if they're released any updates this year to fix it. Do it with ncs expert

I've tried many different combinations of options with NCS-Expert and never could get the blinking BFD to work. Sometimes certain combinations would disable it entirely. I gave up after a few hours of tinkering. Not sure if anyone else has figured it out yet.

With my setup above I have only flashing stop light(inner/outer) without 3'rd stop light
Anyone know what does mean alternative in Carly?

BFD is FRM dependent. Pretty sure you need FRM2. I've tried with FRM3 and no luck.

Really? If the newer F30s can have it why would our newer version FRMs make it not work.

F30's come equipped with different lighting modules, FEM and REM. Completely different than FRM on E chassis. I know brake force display works on FRM2 cars no problem, on normal 3 series frm3 cars I haven't gotten it to work. I've spent a good amount of time on a 2011 335i doing many configurations and testing but nothing. What's weird is ive been able to do it to frm3 M3's. The frm3 modules are the same it looks like but I'm not sure if it's a problem with the car is wired or what.

Yeah I figured it would be a different module what I meant is more as if BMW discontinued the feature but then put it back in new cars. But I guess not.

I'm really curious, I'll have to check mine to and experiment. Nice feature to have.

Someone mentioned putting the Euro brake VO or something on another thread but if the M3 didn't had that idk.
