It's not full but there are flakes, I cannot afford to put another motor in, pretty much if a new set of bearings won't fix I have to sell the car.

Did you do this job all by yourself? Your other thread said you found it impossible to do alone, at least the subframe part. Did you have help?
At the end of the day you're gonna have to tear down, find where the metal came from and go from there whether to take the engine out and rebuild or what.

Well I appreciate the help guys, not sure what I'll end up doing, but I'll update when I figure it out. Hopefully the outcome ends with me staying on this forum.

Don't sell the car, find a used motor locally and swap it in. They go for 1-1.5k for a decent one. If you lived closer to me I'd shoot you an offer for the car lol but if you're willing to attempt a rod bearing job, an engine swap is no problem. Hopefully you can laugh about this in the future. Is an expensive lesson.

Only one way to find out. Drop down the oil pan again. Grab the bottom of the rod caps one at a time and start moving it back and forward and you'll know which one is toasted, but regardless it's always safe practice to inspect all.

Something strange has got to be going on, you're not going to eat up a set of bearings so bad in 12 minutes that it's going to make that much knocking noise... even if it spins a bearing in the journal, it's not going to knock like crazy. I wonder if something didn't get torqued down right or something didn't seat right. If I were you, before I did anything I would pull it all apart and see what's going on with the rod bearings period and maybe something simple.

You checked every single bearing for the 'STD' marking?

hmm is it possible you may have switched the caps between cylinders and that's the knocking sound? If through wear there's a slight slight difference in tolerance now... if that's possible . Or got sent a wrong size bearing by mistake I'm really not sure after that
