Question about Non-Navi no Idrive single hump e91's, does the factory BMW professional radio have BT for phone only or for audio streaming as well? If no audio streaming what are the options? Also are there any suggested brackets for mounting the phone similar to the ten kit bracket for 911's? Any insight would be appreciated

Just BT for phone I believe. I think you need iDrive for the Combox to be a thing.

Google tune2air, it'll do what you're asking for, though make sure to unplug it from your car if you're not driving for a couple days. It will kill your battery, ask me how I know.

To your first question, I have several e9x's. Some with hump and some without. Definitely the cars without hump have BT phone only with no audio. I have one with hump and BT audio, and one with hump and no BT audio. My experience buying these things is that BT audio is a rare option.

To your next question, I have ProClip mounts in all of my cars. They work really well. You buy a base specific to your car, and a phone mount specific to your phone model: https://www.proclipusa.com/

As mentioned the audio BT streaming requires Combox which I'm pretty sure only was available with iDrive, *and* it was only there for 2011.5 and onward E9x models (at least as far as the M3 is concerned). "2011.5" is the moniker given to cars produced in Sept 2010 (somewhat ironic) and onward (note the 2011 model year started with March 2010 production for the USA). A number of other changes/additions were added for 2011.5, but I'm mainly familiar with the M3 in that respect (have owned a 2011.5 for 10 years), but I assume the overall E9x is similar. You'll sometimes see (in the M3 circles anyway) reference to 2011.75 and that only added BMW apps as of Mar 2011 production, so nothing significant.

Ah, thank you for clearing this up. Now I think I understand the pattern I have encountered!

Would the BT car kit with an audio Jack from Amazon work well to stream music from pandora or Spotify?
Or are there any integrated kits available out there
I was able to get the BT kit from rennkit to plug in my 911 hence looking for something similar

There is cheap aux to Bluetooth adapters on Amazon.
Find one that needs a power source to turn on. That way it turns off when your car turns off.
Your phone connects to the adapter via Bluetooth and plays through the aux.

I use this one. Works great, agressive pairing so it connects with the phone almost instantly after switching the ignition.

XTREME WAB91008BK XTREME Monster Bluetooth Audio Receiver, Black,WBA9-1008-BLK https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07V1HMX...RAZ4VM9FXMD299

I bought this one at Walmart, I'm happy with it since I can keep it inside the armrest console....it has a battery so doesn't always have to be connected to a power source.

TUNAI Firefly LDAC Bluetooth Receiver: High Resolution Wireless Audio Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter with Audiophile USB DAC 3.5mm AUX for Car/Home Stereo Hi Res Music Streaming; Auto On, No Charging Needed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HDO66NK...ing=UTF8&psc=1

This is a good one.
It automatically connects and disconnects from your phone.
Iíve tried the battery powered ones and they need to be manually turned on and your phone keeps sending music to it if itís not off.

Thanks for sharing this information Serf27
I know the vehicle I purchased a 2011 E91 wagon has the BMW professional radio and the VIN Decoder shows a S6FL-USB/AudioInterface & S6VC-Control, Combox. I'm unsure if it has the USB /Aux as I don't have the vehicle as yet and just preparing for my 1k road trip when I take delivery.
As I research I came across this module
https://adapter-universe.de/1883/blu...90-e91-e92-e93
Anyone do a plug /play with this? Does it retain the factory BT Phone functionality while adding the BT Music streaming thru the OEM speakers?
any insight would definitely be helpful since Im new to the E9xx platform without the iDrive
ThankYou

It will have the USB and aux inputs in the center console under the armrest.
The Tunai I linked above would plug into both the aux and usb.

ThankYou Serf27 I ordered the Tunai, per your suggestion.
Hoping the vehicle is equipped with the USB and AUX in the center armrest console.

It looks like the only option was premium package. Typical of a dealer stock order car trying to keep msrp as low as possible.

The only mechanical issue is slight oil pan gasket leak. She wants $9k for it in current condition. Wanted to offer it here before I helped her list it elsewhere or on an auction site. What is the market for rebuilt e91s, with solid engines? Is there some baseline price where they could always find a buyer? Maybe $3k? $5k? $7k?

WTB: LMB E91 to match my E90 M3

Good Afternoon to those in the states! I'm looking for an E91 in LeMans Blue to match my E90 M3. Other than that I have absolutely zero requirements for the car other than I prefer a clean title but will consider a rebuilt. The E91 won't stay in one piece for very long as I'll be swapping it. I've been looking for 3 months so far. Closest I've gotten to buying is this week however someone on the E91 Facebook group bought the car out from underneath me. I am willing to travel! My E90 is pictured below for reference. Thank you!
