BECAREFUL! The amp is located under that tray, so if you develop any leak, then it could be a painful price.

Not if he is going to relocate the amp! Wow Alex the install looks awesome, but FBIS location for the pump is already stealthy enough, if I didn't have a E93 and have the hydrolic pumpm there, that would be my spot for stealthy and safe from leaks location! Keep us posted, I am wondering how the hell are you going to make the tank not seen???....I purchased the 2.5 gallon tank already and have it almost installed on my car...My location is 100% not seen!!!!

If he relocates the amp, then I would just pad the metal to protect it if a leak occurs. The other thing to consider is if you had a full rear or rear side impact then what happens? If that tank was ever compromised, the car would go up in flames if it leaked to the exhaust. 50/50 water to methanol ratio burns with an invisible flame.

Here is my tank setup available only for E93...stealthy!! Holding straps were custom made from Home Depot aluminum trims for flooring!! Waiting on the rest of the items from Snow thats B/O..Still deciding where to place the pump..

Yes there is I think the Bluetooth module on the right side of it, the same position as the pics you showed above.....I have tested the tank for leaks at the point where it attaches to the fuel line and if done correctly the hose needs to be yanked out to make it leak....I will make SURE that connection is secure before I even add any liquids to that tank!

That is not enough though. I would protect that module some how because it is not cheap to replace.

biggest problem is that the pump shouldnt be more then 2ft away from the tank, and must be mounted lower to allow gravity feed to the pump

Well the nozzle will be on the far left side of it, what I may do to protect against leaks is drill a hole for drainage on the left hand side right under the hole of the tank..I love the fact that I don't see the tank when I open the trunk!

The pump hose will be on the same plane if not slightly lower than the tank nozzle....It will be less than two feet of hosing...THe only worries will be tank leakage..

Are you using a low level indicator because the will need to be drilled. Can you relocated the BT module?

Much is going to be made about mounting very soon. One must remember that methanol is highly corrosive to metals and highly flammable. If you drip it on metal or on electronics you can either short out the item or start to quickly destroy metal. This is just my opinion, but I think anyone that would mount either the tank or pump above the battery or any electronics is simply playing with fire... literally. If you get a leak for any reason, like loose fuel tubing, crack in the hose, seals go out on a pump, etc. and it drips on the battery or electronics then your car is going to catch on fire. 50/50 water-methanol burns with an invisible flame and your car will be engulfed in flames before you even realize what is happening. The is the reason my pump is in a plastic "bowl" basically and my tank is sitting on carpet above nothing. Just think long and hard about where and how you mount this stuff.

The low level indicator will be tapped on the same side and height of the hole tapped for the pump.....I will see if I can relocate the BT module...For extra precautionary method, I am going to clear silcone the fuel line at the adapter of the tank where it meets the fuel line hole...Once the silicone dries, it will furthur decrease the chance of the hose to slip out even a half of a millimeter!! I understand the concern about the methanol, but if the fuel line is inserted correctly, the chances of it leaking will be minimized, in fact I have read so many threads about people not even able to take that hose out ( well thats because they didn't read the instruction manuals!) when they wanted to, and thats yanking the hose with force....I mean seriously, I never liked how these fuel lines get attached to the fittings in the first place and I can't understand why they haven't perfected something that is 100% leakproof, and not able to loosen...They should have fittings like the boost nipple fittings where the nozzle is ribbed and a hose clamp is used to tighten it!...It seems so flimsy especially since there are grooves in the adapters that holds it in place....FBIS...in your setup, the boost selenoids are hooked up and if there is a leak there, it can drip into a hot engine and that can cause a fire ESPECIALLY in your case that you have a 67/33 ratio of meth/water....Basically I feel anyone doing is mod, they must be careful on the installation and realize regardless of HOW you install it on your car, there is a increase percentage and hazard of creating fire or short, and with extra care to where tanks, solenoids, and fuel lines are installed, I agree it can minimize the problems if they do arise!.. Basically the clique " You have to pay if you play sometimes"!

Push-lock hose connections are common in the industrial world. They work quite well provided they are properly used.

BTW, how are you going to fill the bottle; remove it?
