bmw E92 OE Performance springs

Hi all,

I cannot find what kind of OE Performance rear springs goes for e92 335i MT.

My local dealer even stated that E92 does not have performance springs..

codes that I found for PS yellow springs:

33536788898 (most probably T1)
33536788899 (most probably T2)
33536788900 (most probably T3)
33536788901 (most probably T4)

Would really appreciate the help!!

BMW Performance Srings T1, T2, T3, T4 Part Numbers E90 E91 E92 E93 E82 E88 E87

I'm not sure which ones work best on e92 335i MT. 328csl has a MT E92, maybe his setup can help you.

Which struts will you install?

I was able to put these part numbers together from posts by Mr.5, 328csl and other members here

SPRINGS
T1 Front: 31-33-6-788-891
T1 Rear: 33-53-6-788-898

T2 Front: 31-33-6-788-892 (confirmed)
T2 Rear: 33-53-6-788-899 (confirmed)

T3 Front: 31-33-6-788-893 (confirmed by Mr.5)
T3 Rear: 33-53-6-788-900 (confirmed by getbmwparts)

T4 Front: 31-33-6-788-894 (verified on my e90)
T4 Rear: 33-53-6-788-901

Heres a REAR spring number I found but did not see a T#
33-53-6-788-902

If anyone can confirm or deny these, PLEASE post a reply! digging through all the posts was kinda crazy. Having all the numbers in one place would be great!

Thank You for confirming the T2s!

What chassis, engine and transmission do you have?

What strut part numbers did you go with?

Any pics installed?

Car is an E82 128i (N52) with AT and most options so it is a relatively heavy 1 Series.

I've got Koni sports on the car so can't help you there.

If my car had no sunroof, manual seats, no HID lights and no nav system it would have taken T1/T1.

A highly optioned 135i with MT would take T3/T2.

I don't have a pic but it sits about where it's supposed to - approx 25mm lower than non sport.

...900 is T3 and I would have guessed you car took T3 front and back.

I don't know what the difference is, but I'm sure you will be happy with either.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the weight of the car determines which set of springs and which T# front or rear.

For example, I've read a lot of 1 series running T1 springs, a T1 could fit on a e9x, but I've never read on here of anyone with a E9X running T1 springs.

That's not to say the higher number Ts are for heavy cars. I've read fully loaded e92s with T3 from the dealer's recommendation. But the E92 is the heaviest out of E88 E90 and E92.

So, please continue down this rabbit hole and post back here!

Personally, I have T4s up front on my fully loaded AT E90 335i. I like them a lot. The springs were installed on Bilstein B4 struts, not the BMW performance struts, Just to save a little money.
