" It's just an intercooler people put too much thought into it" upgrading cooling, whether its intercooler or meth is very important for this car. Each option has its pros and cons. Most users want a solution that they install once and never have to worry about thats why we recommend upgrading intercoolers ... A good intercooler will make a big difference versus a not so good FMIC (especially if it is working on its own without meth injection) If user does not mind the extra work that comes with meth injection, it is definitely a very cheap and effective solution to lower IAT and raise octane

FMIC is definitely the easier and low risk solution.
But if you asked me to put money on a Meth Car VS FMIC only car, I'll put the money on the Meth car, assuming it's tuned and operating correctly As Mike said, plenty of pros and cons, more cons for the meth kit of course. |

CTS, Cobb,& Mishimoto are my last 3 choices. I am thinking of going with Cobb since I will be using the Cobb tune & downpipes. 3x the Cobb or maybe mix in a little Mishimoto or CTS in there. Kind of hard deciding...

Wagner FTW.
I just installed my Evo II Comp, and the quality is top notch.

Different applications for different intercoolers. Tube and fin is more expensive to build than bar and plate Tube and fin recovers faster which is why it is more widely used on race cars and drivers who track their cars often It also weighs less IAT with the bar and plate will take longer to rise versus a tube and fin intercooler, but it will also take much longer to recover

Or maybe Wagner , now that I know about it.. Lol . Damnit now I have 4 choices. So Wagner, CTS, Cobb , & Mishimoto. Jeeze the choices are increasing instead of decreasing! Ahh!! But Wagner does look very legit. Hmm...... Which Intercooler... 🤔

Wagner has 4 different options to suit one's needs. So.....assess your future goals, and choose accordingly.

We're still waiting for the independent logs of the 7" HD. The current customer logs we have vs the Wagner Evo are promising but we're waiting for the OEM comparison before we make a release thread

Are your intercoolers bar and plate or tube and fin or do you offer both. What is the new massive one? The e92 might need a new one

Bar and plate across all of our cores including the monster race core. If you're running any sort of turbo upgrade you won't find anything better than the 7.5" race intercooler in the current market
Hit me up when you're ready and I'll be happy to set you up with a local discount |

Hmm... 🤔 I am very interested in the ER Intercooler now. It looks really top notch quality. I do not mind paying a little extra hundred bucks for something Grade A. Not that the others aren't good, but in my honest opinion you really do get what you pay for. So ER might be my decision. Still not 100% but I am at the very least down to 2 choices. Honestly, I just want an Intercooler that cools the most I guess with the best quality parts... If that makes any sense... No goals of power in particular , but I do love extra power... This is a good thread. Intercoolers are I believe one of the most important upgrades alongside charge pipe,& other general misc upgrades...
