You should log Throttle Closure.

You are overboosting and PID is also not how you want it Sooo DME is closing throttle.

IŽd say.. your tune is really not done yet.

I am pretty sure he is on the base map with no revisions so it will start getting cleaned up soon.

This is just the base map I have gotten from Ken. I just sent him new logs from yesterday with the 100% throttle. Plus I finally got around to getting the XHP stage 3 and installed and coded a new battery yesterday. I knew the battery was going when my welcome lights wouldn't work even after having the charger on it. Everything good now.

Except i smell coolant slightly in the cabin, so hoping my heater core isn't going out now that the cold weather is setting in.

All the options are on the site. I agree it is not the easiest to navigate. Select the model, then select td03 or td04, and then select from the options in those categories.

About $1700 https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...5i/?pdk=AQIDCQ

I don't know if you can do anything to avoid this except make sure there is not kink of pull on the pipe.
Well that sucks, I have the same inlets (aluminum VRSF relocated). I have not had that problem however, I did have a problem with the rear inlet staying on the turbo snout. I've since reinstalled the inlet & cleaned out the oil that was being dumped by the PCV hose. Don't even know what to call it since it practically just vented to atmosphere/rear inlet. I now have a oil catch can on there so I'm hoping it stays clean and doesn't slip off again.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean collapsed?

Did you have any boost leaks etc, how much oil did you burn before you notied etc.

The inlet's job is to suck air into the turbo. If it sucks too hard "insert mom joke", or if there is a kink it the pipe it can collapse.

Yes, I was not hitting boost and that is probably why.
Not sure what you mean by how much oil I burned. I noticed it right away.

First off im not sure of your situation, and thank you for the inlet lesson. lol

But i am trying to picture how it can collapse, and how. It was all attached, no loose connections, it just collapsed on the silicone part?

And im guessing your symptoms were lots of smoke, and hence why i asked how much oil you were burning.

I'm not sure what caused it to collapse. I am just going by what the shop told me. They were 1.75 inlets stretched to fit the 2" snout. I was told that would be fine and help it say in place better but maybe the stretching made it collapse.

Yep, lot's of smoke and it smelled like oil. I was doing a log while chasing the boost leak and after the pull, boom, something went wrong.

Heard back from Ken. He said that the turbos hit way harder than he was expecting. HA. So he is going to dial it back a bit. Stage 2+ for the win so far!

I posted pictures of a collapsing inlet a few pages ago. In the case I posted, it was caused by a slightly kinked tube.

I love how this is the only complaint so far and Shawn went out of his way to rectify it. Why is it that in here and spool street that there are 3 people in particular that talk so much shit and get posts deleted or archived and then disappear. Mine are great and do wonders at 21 psi so far.

He didn't even have to, it was more of "no one knows who's fault it was" fix.
But ultimately it had nothing to do with the Turbos but he still supplied new ones.
I will say I am nervous using any VRSF product.

At least he did replace them, that is great.

As to your VRSF comment, what is the reasoning?

i think it was more install error than product failure, and thats on the shop that installed not you. stretching a 1.75 coupler over a 2 in turbo snout was a bad idea. i imagine it weakened the whole silicone piece, the shop should have known not to do that. use parts that fit properly for the sake of longevity and peace of mind.

It's just not that good of quality. Sure it might be better then some ebay knock off stuff but if you took a high-quality thing like a Wagner intercooler, you can really tell what you are getting.
That being said, VRSF is great, for the price.
This is my opinion based on the products I have used. Take opinions with a grain of salt.
