Rear nearside indicator fault

Hi there, I recently had my car in a body repair shop to fill and spray a scuff and dent on the rear nearside bumper and rear quarter.

After having the car back around a week when I start the ignition I get a fault up telling me there's an issue with my indicator, if I knock the rear light with my hand it goes away, I'm assuming this means its an electrical issue. Does anyone have any experience on what it could be and/or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance, Cal.
