Thats a huge Xmas surprise. Are you sure she wants a Yorkie or is that your wish? Advice if you don't mind....make sure you are both on the same page about the dog breed and personality traits before you commit. They are living, breathing creatures that require more care and love than a BMW.

Well i always knew that they are like babies. My brother in law just got a yorkshire for his wife and when my wife seen it she started to cry and was upset becuase i never got her a puppy.

i would check the bargain trader for breeders, you can usuall y get a better price and the dog is most of the time in better shape than the ones at the pet shop

1100 or 1200 not 100% sure... she just got it from a breeder, brought it home, and her daughter doesnt want it. has shots and everything

make sure wherever you get the dog has papers and take the dog to your own vet before purchasing. i have a VERY good vet if you need.

I was driving around the back woods of Montana and I see a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale' I rings the bell and the owner appears and tells me the dog is in the backyard.

I go into the backyard and see a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.

'You talk?' I ask.

'Yep,' the Lab replies.

After I recover from the shock of hearing a dog talk, I say 'So, what's your story?'

The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping.'

'I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running. But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.’ 'I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'

I'm amazed. I go back in and ask the owner what he wants for the dog.

'Ten dollars,' the guy says.

'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'

'Because he's a liar. He never did any of that shit!!!!’

SPCA they are all free and they always make the best dogs



and to the OP, if you want a dog <5 lbs, buy a cat. they clean themselves and you don't have to come home to let them out to shit.
