No windshield fluid flowing

Just bought an 09 e93.
No fluid comes out of the windshield washer.
I’ve read several threads that say the wipers won’t go if the pump is bad.
I can’t hear the pump.
The fuse is good.
My wipers do move when I try to do the spray.
I pumped a bike pump backwards through the system and splashed fluid out of the reservoir. That did not give me a temporary fix as some describe.
Is it an absolute that if the pump is bad the wipers won’t activate when you pull back on he wiper stalk as some have described?

You got fluid in the tank, right?

Check for power with a DMM at the pump connector. If power and ground are good, then it's the pump.

Exact same situation in my 2011 e90. Wipers operated when pulling on the wiper stalk, but no fluid spray (with a full tank)
Bought a new pump and installed it in :30 minutes. Very easy diy.

The $8 pump and $3 filter from ECS fixed it.
Symptoms were different than some who said the wipers wouldn't move when activating the pump. My wipers moved fine, just no fluid came out.
I took the wheel well cover out. One 10mm bolt frees up the tank. I disconnected the power clip. Pulled the tubing off off the motor. Pulled the motor and filter out of the tank. Replaced both. Surprisingly easy considering they hide the tank behind the wheel well cover.
