As far as i'm concerned Android version for E9X doesn't exist yet cause I've contacted Dynavin myself and asked them.

Caraudiocraze is a reputable business as well. They know their supply lines and they would not defraud people by falsely advertising. Also, I contacted Dynavin solutions, another vendor who is big on e46fanatics. He said they were coming in. After that I talked to caraudiocraze and they confirmed it.

Dynavin is weaksauce for replying to emails. I sent them one ages ago and I don't think I ever got a reply. Did they respond saying that no such unit exists?

Also, they have been making android units for the e46. It isn't a stretch to do it for the e90.

the d99 hasn't been released yet. It is the upcoming version of Dynavin product for our cars and other bimmers. It has several software and hardware upgrades but it is confirmed by dynavinsolutions, a US vendor that costs will be in the $1000 range.

So, if I understand everything well, they will release the D99 this month and they will beside that model also offer an Android model for the E90?
Any idea when the Android model will be available for purchase?

Thx a lot!

As long as your willing to pay $1000+ then it is safe to wait.

I have no problem with that... I rather wait instead of receiving these and get outdated as soon as I receive them.

I smell ya. Dynavin seems to like the route of outdating rather than software updates and fixes from the looks of it.

Big up to Trent at Caraudiocraze. His customer service is by far the bet when dealing with these units. Helped me through MULTIPLE ISSUES and was a standup guy about the whole process.

Would highly recommend them.

As i suspected, the E9X "Android" Dynavin doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. Next one available for sure will be the D99 Platform.

It is, as I see it, that the D99 runs on Windows 6.0 and as option you can select Android. When you want to navigate he will open Android and there you can select you navigation software you want (you can download several navigation program by using the Android Market place).

My point of concerns is the radio. Is the quality good enough? Is there not too much background noise?

Tank you very much!

Okay, I was wrong!

When you select the Android version, the D99 device always runs on Android! (Great!!!) Also the Radio Reception is further developped in the D99. It should be now as good as the OEM radio reception.

Hello all, did you do this group buy? If you did, how did the D99 platforms work out? Is anyone else interested in getting another group buy together?

Thanks,

Ralph

Did this Group buy go through? How did the installations go if it did? Does everyone like their units? Is there anyone else interested in doing a second Group Buy if this one has already been done?

Thanks,

Ralph
