Dash Camera

Get it from eBay.
Mine started saying "Check SD card" last night. Didn't had a chance to check it out yet. Maybe just needs formatting.

Once you get the camera, first thing I had to do was download and update the firmware from the BlackVue website. Instructions were really easy to follow...

How do these hold up over time? How often do you need to format the sd card?

It's still going strong. If I leave it parked outside for too long in the summer heat, the camera will sometimes stop working for a minute, and say "check sd card" but once it's power cycled, it's back to working order. I usually format the card once a month on average.

some dash cameras request formatting the SD card when you firstly use the camera.
