Dyno results?

I was looking at a thread on another forum and i'm curious to know what the highest HP/KW reading is so far? (I know it's a pissing contest, but I'm curious anyway)

I made 492rwkw on a dyno dynamics. With a 4k stall convertor through an auto. So I'd say i've lost an extra 10-15% through my ancient tranny.

I would say you've got the highest reading so far mate. I think the highest reading on the advan dyno dynamics dyno has been 435rwkw. All cars running either the DCT, ZF or 6 speed manual and still retaining the twin turbo setup.

There has been a single turbo 335i car in Melb thats put down like 480rwkw but think that was on a hub dyno. Think he was running a garret gtx35. This car was featured on fullboost

In this video it made lower, but subsequent to this it made the 480.

P.S. I think there is a single turbo 135i in QLD thats made in the mid 400s as well I think.

Very nice figure Duck, well done mate! I'd be pumped with 260 to 280. All I have is an MHD flash, bog stock. Not sure what the MHD flash on a stock car puts out, haven't searched for that yet.

Again, great work. Looking forward to seeing your results when you do your first 1/4 mile run in anger.

Im just interested to see how far off optimum your stall is for track use. From memory 500-750rpm lower than where the engine makes peak torque is ideal. Im pulling mine out shortly to get them to raise it to around 5200rpm

Have you installed the nitrous kit yet Heath? Your fuel consumption will be a bit heavy at that stall.

Hi mate. No not yet. My mechanic is having a few issues, 1st he hurt his back, then the other day his best mate died. So hes going through hell right now, hopefully i can get it in there next week.
Im not concerned about fuel consumption in the slightest haha. I must say its actually pretty good on fuel considering. Im really looking forward to getting close to a 9 second pass!!
