2009 E92... 0.9 APR financing is TRUE!!!

I apologize if this is already posted. For those of you who don't know, the rumor is comfirmed by me because I picked up my car today and to my suprise, while signing my papers I noticed my monthly payments went down. I said WTF its cheaper? Finance guy said, "O you didn't know?" 0.90% APR on all E92's now. Just gets better and better. Lets hope I don't get HPFP tomorrow!

I guess I bought my E92 about 10 days too early and had to pay 2.9%. That blows.

I hope you already have a HPFP. I just hope you don't need to get a second one; tomorrow or any time.

Went in and got a CA to give me a quote on a new E92. I asked about the .9 and he said it would not work because if I ordered a car that day it would not be here before the end of the promotion. He said I could not lock in that rate, but only use it if I recieved the car before May 31st. Sound right? If so, is it possible to start a loan and begin making payments on a car before you get it?
On my last new car purchase, a credit union gave me a good rate and an upper $ figure to shop around with and it was good for.....I dont know how long, but a little while.

He's wrong. You'll be locked in for 60 days regardless of when the promotion ends.

I simply have to fill out the forms requesting this financing, but could order my car any time up to sixty days from approval and still get the .9?

Well... They can do what ever they want really. If you tell them u will walk away with a car today if you get the 0.9 APR they will give it to u. Also I ordered 2/28, car was ready for PU 4/10... So thats like 40 days. They can replace one of their dealership orders and replace it with your order so u can get it sooner. Thats what my CA did for me.

your credit application has to be called into BMW Financial Services. From that point you are guaranteed 60 days

...and thier response is they could tell me nothing as they were a 3rd party lender, and it was up to the individual dealers to set policy. ??

Can you tell me who sets the policy on the .9? Is it the individual dealer as FS said? Is it state lending laws? Or is it BMWNA? I would just like some specifics when I go back to my CA and call BS.

Thanks.

It looks to me like all the 335s and the X3 are at a full 3.9%. Hope my 335d comes in before the 60 days expires.

BMW has their own bank: BMW Financial Services. They're the ones that set the rates.

Looking at the BMW USA page, it looks like the 335 couples and convertibles are at 0.9%, but the sedans are at 3.9%.
