Try Proformance Industries in New Rochelle. They are excellent and reasonable in prices. They do wheel repair as well. Euro-Tech Auto Body in Mamaroneck is excellent as well, and they are the authorized BMW body repair shop of BMW of Mamaroneck, at least they were in 2013 when we had some work done there.

Awesome build! I've been toying with the idea of building one of these as well.
What shop did the work? I'm in the NY area and wouldn't mind getting an idea of how much something like this would cost. And since you've been their guinea pig as well, I'd imagine the second time wouldn't be as hard. Mike

I know you've been asked so many times, but how much did it cost for the full body conversion?

It cost me about $15k ~ with paint and all OEM parts about 3 years ago for reference. Might be cheaper with more used E90 M3 parts around.

I've spent somewhere around $13,000+. Parts alone were around $8000+, 90% were brand new OEM parts. I have a feeling that if I really tally it all down it will be more than that, I'm afraid to do it. Lots of details months after that I've slowly taken care of.
I took months hunting down used parts from an E90 M3... it was time wasted... I rarely found anything, and when I did they were as expensive as buying new and sometimes even more expensive. I even called out sellers who told me they weren't willing to negotiate... really ridiculous. The best scenario is buying a stripped E90 M3 and take all the panels right off. The sellers just overprice them because there are some idiots out there willing to pay top dollar. I've lately been looking for E90M donors to put the V8 in, has been a crazy chase with people not keeping their word. As time progresses I'm losing motivation to even do it. I've got my eye on another car . I'm still very happy with the car, keeping the xDrive has been awesome this winter. Thanks for all the love guys.

Thanks man! Much appreciated. Yes the front end was repainted (same paint batch) and given 3 additional layers of clearcoat, if you go back in my thread its posted there somewhere. Because of the type of clearcoat it looks just a touch darker. I won't lie, it annoys me a little bit but I'll take durable in out terrible weather conditions here in NY.

Thinking of building one? If I could suggest if you are, find an LCI wagon with the interior color you want. It'll make things a lot easier and I feel overall cheaper. ie you can retain the LCI headlights, taillights, trunk, FRM maybe and all interior parts (except dash if you are planning on upgrading to NAVI from a non NAVI car).
Looking at NYBulldog car really makes anyone want one. Such a clean car.

It's been done. You have to step it up, S85 or nothing.
