513M Wheels and Tire Fitment on E92

Hi all, I'm looking into getting a set of 513M wheels that have the tires they came on from the factory for my pre-LCI e92. I've used willtheyfit.com as well as the size calculator at the top of the page but I just want to get some opinions as to whether I could bolt these on directly or not.

Current 193 Setup:
F: 18x8 et 34 (225/35/r18)
R: 18x8.5 et 37 (255/40/r18)

513M Sizes are:
F: 18x9 et 29 (255/40/r18)
R: 18x10 et 40 (275/40/r18)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll be running 235/40/18 up front, and 265/35/18 on the rear.

An aspect ratio of 40 in the rears is likely a bit too tall, and will rub over bumps, or if you're lowered.

I also believe you can fit up to 275 wide in the rears, but that may require a small spacer.

So 275/40 tires would have to get changed out for 275/35s. Got it. I'm not lowered on anything and don't want to roll my fenders or anything like that. I appreciate the advice thanks!

yep definitely going to need 275/35.

I'm running 19x10 +38 in the back on 275/30/19, no rubs and lowered. At most, you'll need a 2mm spacer to stick out a bit more. I'd try without it.

On the 513m, I'd run 265/40/18 and the front 235/35/18 but not sure if they will rub on the strut side or not.

EDIT: I guess they fit on this guys E92 335i, looks like pre-LCI

Awesome. Are you running a spacer in the back? I'd probably go with 275.

Nope. No spacers.
Here's how they look on my E90:

Very slight stretch in the back with 265's, but still have good rim protection

Alignment with the fender (kind of a bad angle, but they are pretty well lined up in person)

But that's an E90. They don't have same offsets.

Pre-LCI is a bit different to LCI and you may need spacers on the back as you are 8mm narrower.

I run 513m on an LCI E90 with 235/40 and 265/35 Michelin PSS lowered on BMWPS. No rubbing with passengers in the back and over dips/bumps. Friend runs 275/30 on his 437m in MPSS sport suspension and no rubs either. But can not guarantee on pre-LCI.

Here are some against the 437m. 513m is on BMWPS and 437m is on factory sport. 513m is on winter PA4 225/255 and 437m is on 235/275 MPSS.

So I purchased a set of 513M's yesterday. Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm probably going to buy a set of 12mm spacers as well, just in case, and I'll have to get the different tires for the rear. I'll talk with the installers as to whether they should be 265 or 275.

Just got the notification they were delivered today. After reading through all this again I think I'm going to go with 265/35/18 and hopefully that avoids needing any spacer? We'll see this weekend.
