for sharing. I think we should have a section for these sort of thread so that if nyone want to buy something from another member, they can scan this section for their name. if their name show up, then you should think twice about doing online transaction with that person. But the drawbck is it will hurt ppl like ZuerstBMW. I don't do online transaction with anyone outside texas period!

I don't think it hurt ZuerstBMW. One read of the story told me what happened. Unfortunately, I did not read it until AFTER I sent out my money. That whole lecturing him about customer service is an absolute joke. He treated me like crap AND had my money in his hand. Said it was fake, threatened to shred it, and wouldn't even talk to my bank, or deposit it to find out. What a genius. Like I would try to fraud him out of some wheels and tires, after he knew where I worked, both home and work address, and all my contact numbers. He is just a dis-honest person.
He told me when he got the money he would ship them right out, and they were "ready to go". Then after I overnighted the money, and called him he asked "how would I go about boxing these up?" Which told me he wasn't even close to getting them ready, after he charged me $25 for "packaging materials"!! Which I paid. He had me believe he had priced packaging, and had it ready!

Sorry to hear about that....this Sungmin guy sounds like a real con-artist. If you do come down to Cali and "collect" your money the hard way. Please film it for us to enjoy..I want to see some spec-ops ass-kicking on this guy...

Isn't there a big ass bank charge if you deposit a certified check and then the funds don't clear from the issuing bank? I thought there was since with a certified check the funds show up immediately for withdrawl. But I could be wrong, I've only gotten one once. Looking to the other point of view that might be why he's not doing anything with it?

If the guy was really out to scam you why would he refuse paypal funds from an unverified address? That part doesn't make sense. Take the money and run and not care verified or unverified.

Just sounds like this sungmin guy is a complete tard more than he is a scammer ... but I haven't read the other thread yet.

That's possible. I am not saying he set out to scam me. But, when he told me he thought the check was fake, I gave him several options. I could Paypal him again with home address(confirmed) once I got the check back. He could call the Bank. The Bank could call him, or his Bank. He then got rude, said he didn't want my business, and would not agree to return my check in a way that I could ensure it got back in my hands. Fed-Ex, DHL, ect. Even at MY EXPENSE. Hell, he could have COD'd it. He also implied he was not in a hurry to get it back to me, which was confirmed when i called him later Thursday afternoon, and he had not sent it back yet. Either way, that check is like cash. I need it back. I don't want to hear this crap about he mailed it back, and it got lost. Can you not see where I'm coming from. He got the check Wednesday at 1030 for crying out loud. He never called and told me this. I called 4 times before he answered on THURSDAY. He still never called to tell me this info. Tard? Maybe. Outright rude and inconsiderate...Absolutely! This is over a thousand dollars we are talking about! You want to buy from him obLu??

That's what the feedback system is for... that iTrader rating I guess... but doesn't help if they didn't leave comments on each other. It also doesn't help if someone holds back on a comment, waiting for you to comment first to see if you blasted them, then they blast you right back even when they're at fault. It's kind of a stale-mate situation.

Oh no no no, I wasn't implying that you'd done absolutely anything wrong. You've given the guy plenty of options.

Just trying to figure out what's going on in the guys head. Now that I read the other thread about the sunglasses ... and the wonderful, 'I've got a couple of boiler room businesses, come make 400k selling for me' thread ... I've concluded that the dude is just wacked.

Good luck with everything, I don't think you're going to have an easy time.

Also look down a few posts, and you'll see sungmin whining about a $150 pair of shades! Now he's been giving me the runaround for my $1025!!

He even went as far as threatning to shred my certified check!! I guess the customer is not always right. My basic instinct as being an ex-spec ops guy is to hop a plane out to Cali, and handle this the right way. But if my money is not returned soon, I'll let law enforcement handle their end. You see since he decided not to return by a method that can be tracked, the burden is on HIM to prove he returned it. Not too smart on his part, since he refuses to also cooperate with my Bank. He is digging himself a hole here. I hesitated to post this a couple days ago, fearing I would not get my money back.

My only hope is that it comes soon. My ticket out there would cost $547. Oh yeah, I already checked!

Nah, that's just the link to the original thread. He's in this section, Vendor Comments, a few posts down calling out Zuerstbmw for supposedly selling him some ill-fitting sunglasses.

From Zuerst's sides of the post, ironically, sungmin spouts about how the customer is always right.

I'm guessing in Sungmin's world, he's always right.
