It's not a y-pipe, its a muffler tip that has 1 in-let to 2 out-lets.
I'll show you the part.

Magnaflow sells them.

all eisenmann products are a rip off. They're like any typical product. I don't get why people pay so much for it. It's nothing a muffler shop couldn't make for you.

I can see why it is good, but its not worth the $. In my opinion.

So basically I need to buy the tips (most likely online) and then the muffler shop will do the rest? What size for the tips do I need to buy?

I supposed the shop has to fab up a pipe after removing the stock exhaust. And the tip will be welded at the end.

I looked up the site and I found the magnaflow tip offers in either straight or slant cut. I supposed I need to get the slant cut, or does it make any difference???

Straight cut:

Slant cut:

the straight/slant cut only affects the tips so it wont make a difference... it all depends on your preference.

I got think it is.. I picked the biggest they carried.. and it is a muffler tip with 1 inlet and 2 outlet. I am planning to delete my secondary backs and resignator soon when I have the money.

This is a HUGE thread!!!

I'm sooo tempted to try this (the muffler delete only)... My only issue wouldd be the highway drone thing... I know you guys said that the drone is minimal, however, is there anyway someone could post a clip while driving on the freeway at 80mph or so?

well i spent 100 and i get nothing but compliments and people asking what kind of exhaust it is... plus it sounds amazing

as for high way or any time really that your not accel or on cruise control lets say 80 mph windows up no music it sounds stock no drone.

if u just slightly hit the gas to accel u hear it tiny bit. and its the same at any speed only time its a lil loud is from 0-15 that its loudest.

personally i think this is the best sound you can buy for the money.

o and btw i feel nice pull in all my gears cutting off i think 35 pounds didnt hurt either.

2k is crazy for a brand name exhaust and this is coming from a brand whore.

il be at the meet on the 26th for u miami people.
