Thanks. Its just the way it turned out with the kwv2s. The rear is on the highest setting and its still pretty low. Did you install your LPFP or did you have it installed at a shop? I'll probably just leave the 91 map as is and add the fuel pump kit and tune for e50.

Anyone in Chandler/Tempe/ Ahwatukee area have the tools and skills to do a battery registration in an 08 E92??? My battery is probably on its last legs, and I refuse to spend $300-$400 on a battery change thru an Indy or stealership . I assume is a pretty fast/easy process, and I could use some help. Thx!

I finally had a chance to swap them around and the misfire moved with the coil pack so off to the stealer tomorrow to pick up a new coil and hopefully we're back to beast mode and can continue on with adding some more ponies.

Cobb support is top notch. I was having some issues back when I first got the cobb and began tuning and at some point my dog managed to get ahold of my AP and eat the pins off the connector. I was able to ship it in and they fixed it, they might of even comped it but I can't remember.

This happened to me too when I installed the tune. Original coils were weak under higher boost...I also put a thin coat of dielectric grease in the inside of the boot where the rubber meets the spark plug ceramics to prevent fusing together.

You can save pretty penny if you order it from autohausAZ or Amazon.
If you just stay on stock boost for now you should get by the misfire issues till they come in.
Just my two cents. ..

Thanks for the advice. I've been tuned for probably the last 60k and this is the first issue I've had with a coil pack. It probably cost me an extra $20 to pick it up for a dealer but they threw another 10% off on top. I rather have the piece of mind knowing it isn't my injectors before going back to work tomorrow. Cars running great again now that I've switched.

As for autohausAZ, you can actually call in your order and pick it up from their warehouse in tempe for quick easy savings. I'll probably be doing that when I have time to replace all the other stupid shit going wrong with the car.

That's a whopping mileage on the tune...which brings my question..
Regarding running higher boost with tune and cold engine...
People say to let it warm up to at least 180 degrees before running full boost.
Idea is that upper cylinder will "mushroom" shape if boosting higher than stock boost level.
Obviously we don't want mushrooming and lose compression and more blowby.
If that happens, I think the motor will need rebuilding...something I want to avoid at all costs.
How is your experience and your driving habits on cold engine?

I love my INPA laptop for Iits accuracy in troubleshooting.
99% misfires are ignition related. I'm not positive injection will throw misfire code.
On 30FF "under boost" issue, if I use OBD scanner it won't know which turbo.
But INPA actually knows which turbo.

Thanks for the AutohausAZ and able to pick up after ordering..

What I do know is that with flashes such as cobb while tables are modified the computer still follows its pre-set logic in terms of not reaching full boost until its warmed up. My car feels like a pig first thing in the morning and I don't really get on it until I reach the highway/temps. I don't run a boost gauge but many members have no problem and have been running tunes from day 1. Few have been rebuilt.

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know a very good place for mods to install the dps on my car? I have a E92 335i. I want to install my dps but I don't think I am going to do it myself. So any suggestions?

I live in Tempe if you want to do a car meet or something.
