Tinting issues on e92?
So I have the 2012 e92. Called the tinting guy and he said there's dots on the back window or something that comes on those BMWs. Used some words like "matrix" and should do some research on it. Not sure what he's talking about. Anybody know? What are the negative effects of it? Any pics you can show me?

Check these images out. This happened on mine, the tint guy warned me ahead of time. Kind of ugly but unnoticeable from far away and can't tell from the inside. Some people get a black vinyl put around the dot matrix area and then put the tint on. The only thing about this is you won't be able to see out of that one top part. |

Tell him to put a black vinyl strip over it. I just got my windows done and it looks good. Just to clarify the top portion doesn't block your vision it's to high up.

I did the vinyl on one car and didn't do it on another. I actually prefer the one without the vinyl strip. My tint guy was able to get the dot matrix to a minimum. Maybe tint material and workmanship makes a difference?
