ABR 335is Stock Turbo WR 11.12 @ 126.59
Set the world record last night for stock turbos and the 335is. Several years in the making with the build and awesome to finally have it come to fruition.
I was in Baytown last night at Royal Purple Raceway outside of Houston. Was able to get out there early thanks to working for one of the best and most reputable BMW service and performance shops around, ABR Houston. They understand the importance of getting there early, staying late, and going beyond all expectations! Here is a video of the record run. I raced a Viper, not sure the year. Thankfully after the run the Viper drivers friends came and talked to me. They wanted to know what I had done to the car. One of them thankfully recorded it and was able to email it to me. Thanks John for the video, some people around here require a DNA sample when claiming a world record. Amazing numbers for stock turbos, those Inlets are working the boost and timing you can hold in the higher gears is simply amazing for stock turbos. Your so close to 10s on stock turbos it's amazing. You smashed the 1/4 ET and MPH record with a 1.9 60 ft where previous record (11.259 @ 122.86mph in a 135i) was with a 1.6 60ft. If you get your 60 ft down to the 1.7s with a good run you have a great shot at 10s!
Congrats man, I know how much you wanted this record, feels great once you actually achieve it |

Extremely impressive time for stock turbos.
Any plans for upgraded turbos?

Must be nice to have negative DAs. Unfortunately for most of us that's not even close to a reality.
Congrats either way, 126 is impressive

Very nice! That 11.1 really took the wind out of my sails. It makes my PB from yesterday look pathetic. Congrats nonetheless!
