E91 325xi staggered rim and tire setup

Hi Guys,

I am driving E91 325xi 2006 USA.

I know there are some dependencies if you want to make a staggered setup on AWD car. However I found out in forums that for R18 I could go with 225/40 (front) and 255/35 (rear) tires and there should be no problems with AWD system - https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1050762.
If someone has different experience please shout out!

Now I am looking for new set of rims for my mentioned tire type and I am not to sure what J and ET I should look for a wheel set to look and perform good. Would JR18 R18x8.5 ET 35 (front) and JR18 R18x9.5 ET 35 (back) fit n my case? What other options I could be looking at? Maybe you could drop specs of what staggered setups you are running? Thanks!

Depending on what kind of setup you're doing. That's safe aswell. I'm running 19x8.5 35et with and 19x9.5 et25. 235/35 and 265/30. Rears are a bit aggressive and needed a little roll. Especially with my drop. The chart posted above is a big help and accurate

Check out this calculator to compare sizes:

8.5 front and 9.5 rear will fit. I have 9.5 +35 square with 10mm spacers all the way around. The front pokes out a little bit but I had to use a 10mm to clear my coilovers.

Spring season is here, and I have decided to go with JR18 rims and just wondering if such build would fit stock E91xi suspension? Front: R18 235/40 9.5J, ET35 (not sure about ET) and rear: R18 265/35 10.5J ET35 (not sure about ET). If someone who has better understanding could suggest that would be great. Thanks
