changing water pump/thermo - anything else i should replace while im there?

THIS is the small coolant hose that goes over the radiator some people were talking about breaking in your other thread. You could risk it, buy it proactively, or be like me and just replace the hard plastic section with a section of tubing from the local AutoZone if it does break. Some brass barbs and hose clamps worked just fine.
